CapitalBio® Microarray Scanner LuxScan™10K/D, a novel optical system design based on the laser confocal principle, improves detection sensitivity and is suitable for dual-color or single-color fluorescence detection and analysis of high, medium, and low-density biochips.

The LuxScan™10K/D optical system works on the laser confocal principle. It increases the sensitivity of detection and can be used for either single-color or dual-color fluorescence detection and analysis of high, medium, or low density biochips.

LuxScan10K/D has a much larger numerical aperture of 0.76 than the industry standard of 0.68. The amount of light that can be collected is directly related to the lens's numerical aperture.
